Privacy policy

For the Fixbench Android application (com.fixbench.fixbench), published by SUMA TRADING.
Effective 1 August 2026 · Last updated 1 August 2026

Fixbench collects no data. Every job card, customer, spare part and setting stays on your device. We operate no servers that receive your information, we have no accounts to sign in to, and we have no technical means of reading what you record.

1. Who publishes this app

Fixbench is published by SUMA TRADING, an organization registered at Trade Center, Dhaka 1211, Bangladesh. SUMA TRADING is the developer named on the Google Play store listing for this application and is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.

2. What data we collect

None. Fixbench transmits no personal or sensitive user data to us or to anyone else. Specifically, the app does not collect or receive:

3. How data you enter is used

Everything you type into Fixbench — job cards, customer names and phone numbers, parts, prices, targets and preferences — is written to storage on your own device and used only to show you your records and the statistics computed from them. All calculations, including insights, streaks and totals, run on the device.

4. Data sharing

We share nothing, because we receive nothing. There are no third parties with which personal or sensitive user data is shared: no advertising networks, no analytics providers, no cloud backup service, no payment processor.

The one exception is entirely under your control: if you use Export or Back up in Settings, the app hands a file you created to whichever app you choose from the Android share sheet. What happens to it after that is governed by that app, not by us.

5. Security of your data

Records are stored in an on-device database (Hive). The stores holding customer names and phone numbers are encrypted with AES-256, and the encryption key is held in Android's hardware-backed keystore via flutter_secure_storage rather than in the database file. Settings and flags are kept in the same secure storage. Because data never leaves the device, it is never exposed in transit to us.

Physical control of the device is therefore the main safeguard: we recommend a screen lock, and exporting a backup before you replace or sell a device.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you keep it there. We retain nothing, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. You can:

Each of those is immediate and permanent — export a backup first if you may want the records again.

7. No user accounts

Fixbench has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. You cannot create an account because there is no server to create it on.

8. Children's privacy

Fixbench is a business tool intended for adults running or working in a repair business. It is not directed at children, is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme, and collects no data from anyone — including children. It contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.

9. Your rights

Rights of access, correction, portability, erasure and objection all normally require the publisher to hold your data. We do not. In practice you exercise every one of them directly in the app: your records are visible and editable, exportable to JSON and CSV, and deletable at any time. If you have a question about this, write to hi@sumatrading.store.

10. Third-party services

Fixbench integrates no third-party services. It contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no social login, no crash-reporting service and no cloud storage provider. The app is built with open-source Flutter libraries that run entirely on the device and make no network calls of their own.

11. Permissions

Fixbench declares exactly one Android permission:

android.permission.INTERNET Used by a single screen — Settings → Privacy policy — which loads this page in a web view so you can read the current policy inside the app. No other part of Fixbench makes a network request.

The app requests no access to contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos, files or notifications. Customer details are typed in by hand precisely so that no contacts permission is needed.

12. Google Play Data safety

Our Data safety declaration on Google Play states that no data is collected and no data is shared. That declaration matches this policy and the app's behaviour: data is neither collected nor transmitted, so there is nothing to encrypt in transit and no deletion request mechanism to provide.

13. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. The current version always lives at https://sumatrading.store/privacy-policy.html, which is also the address the app's Settings screen opens.

14. Contact
